Every year, Team JALBCA participates in the Komen Greater NYC Race for the Cure MORE THAN PINK Walk, held by Susan G. Komen, the world's leading breast cancer organization. By participating, members join a community united in one goal: to end breast cancer forever. Together, we will fund breakthrough discoveries and support those facing the challenges of breast cancer today by ensuring that they receive the care they need to live longer and better lives.
On Race Day, it's powerful to see hundreds of teams from every part of the metropolitan area and all over the country gather together at the start line. Seeing everyone in pink, full of high spirits and energy, really signifies that together we can do anything.
The 2023 Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk was held on Sunday September 10th in Central Park, New York. JALBCA walked for those who can't: those currently battling breast cancer, those who are suffering, and those we have lost. Together, we will fight back against breast cancer. This year, Team JALBCA raised $7,210.92!
