As part of its fight against breast cancer, JALBCA  sponsors scan vans–mobile mammography suites.  In 2014, JALBCA raised enough funds to subsidize the cost of 45 vans, provided by Project Renewal.  This flagship program was initially intended to provide screening for busy legal professionals.  Today the program provides screening to uninsured and underinsured women by bringing this critical medical attention to them in their own communities.

Our scan vans provide mammograms to 500 women each year, half of whom are uninsured.
